The award-winning Women of Temple Beth Ami, as a member of Women of Reform Judaism, is a part of a national and international network of over 100,000 women that creates and carries out programs for the contemporary Jewish woman and her family. Check out the Women of TBA events, activities and additional information here.
By joining the Women of TBA, you help support the work of the Reform Jewish movement and its institutions: The Union of Reform Judaism, Hebrew Union College/Jewish Institute of Religion, ARZA, and the World Union for Progressive Judaism. You also help support rabbinical students and help build schools, libraries and camps in North America and Israel.
Women of TBA make a difference in our congregation and community. It is a network and an arena for educational, cultural and service opportunities. Its members sponsor or support activities and programs for pre-school children, parent education, religious school, youth group, the library, Judaica Shop and all the other caring services that make the congregation an important part of your family. Together with the Brotherhood, it honors our children who become Bar/Bat Mitzvah and Confirmed with a meaningful gift.
Women of TBA represents the values that we as Reform Jews express through our actions, in association with other communal organizations, to make our community a better place in which to live. While it focuses on the needs and interests of women, it is a partner with the Brotherhood to share in social events and in other contributions that meet the religious and financial needs of our congregational family.
New female members of the congregation are given a complimentary one year membership.
