Dear Prospective Member,
We are delighted that you are interested in Temple Beth Ami. Our congregation welcomes new members and we are pleased to have this opportunity to introduce our spiritual, educational, and social programs to you.
In only 39 years, our membership has grown to over 1,100 families. Many of these are families with children, as evidenced by the almost 800-student enrollment in our Religious School and more than 120 children in our Nursery School. At the same time, we are proud to be a multi-generational congregation, with many activities for empty-nesters.
One of our greatest assets is our Clergy, led by Senior Rabbi Jack Luxemburg, who is in his 29th year at Temple Beth Ami. He shares the bima with Associate Rabbi Bath Weiss, Cantor Larry Eschler, and Cantorial Soloist Joshana Erenberg. As you consider joining Temple Beth Ami, we invite you to join us for services and experience the warmth and spirituality of our clergy. We are a congregation that likes to sing, and we hope that Cantor Eschler, Joshana Erenberg, and the voices of the congregation will brighten your Shabbat.
You are also welcome to attend any of our programs and activities, and to sample our educational and social offerings. We have learning opportunities for all ages, community-service activities throughout the year, and many just-for-fun events.
Please peruse our website to learn more about Temple Beth Ami, and to find programs and services you would like to attend. We also invite you to call the Temple office to make an appointment to come meet with our staff, who will be happy to answer your questions and show you around the Temple. If you have any questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to call us at 301-340-6818.
Thank you again for your interest in joining Temple Beth Ami. We look forward to your becoming part of our congregational family.
B'shalom,
Mitchell Frost, President
